Robert Johnson, MD, is a board-certified Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon. His areas of expertise include degenerative diseases, scoliosis, sacroiliitis, pathological fractures (cancer, osteoporosis), and infections of the spine, as well as treatment of joint disease and sports injuries. He specializes in complex spinal procedures and minimally invasive approaches such as MIS sacroiliac joint fusion. Dr. Johnson received his medical degree from the University of Toronto in Canada and later went on to complete an internship at St. Michael’s Hospital, located in Toronto.
Dr. Johnson furthered expanded his experience through the completion of numerous residency programs including General, Cardiovascular, Plastic and Cardiovascular Surgery, and Respiratory ICU. He is an honored member of multiple medical associations including the Texas Medical Association and American College of Surgeons and presently serves as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
